The most recent meeting of the Year 8 Parent Learning Group was held on Tuesday 25th February 2020 from 8:45 - 10.30am in the Learning Centre. It was great to have the opportunity to meet with our Year 8 Parents and discuss the support we have in place for students at Merewether High School.
Areas of focus were:

- Welcome to Year 8 - An organisational focus
- Maths and Science for Year 8
- Learning Reflections - Looking back and forward planning
- Staff PL in 2020 to support Learning
- Thinking and writing - our school priority areas
- Assessment Program and support
- Year Advisors address
