At Merewether High School, we provide a wide range of programs both in and beyond the classroom that support students to extend their learning, develop new skills, form meaningful connections and pursue their interests across academic, sporting, creative, cultural and leadership domains. Our extra-curricular highlights

Debating and public speaking

Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.

Creative and performing arts

Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.

Excursions and authentic learning opportunities

Sport

Annual School Carnivals and Events
