Starting the Year
At the start of Term 1 timetables will be issued to all Year 9 students. Year 9 is the first year that students study elective subjects. Students also have a range of extra-curricular activities that they can choose to be involved in.
Year 9 Assessment Calendar
The Y9 Assessment Calendar is a guide to due dates and other important information for Year 9. Individual class submission dates may vary due to the respective class timetables. The calendar is indicative of the week that a task will fall due. For courses where there is no formal written exam, assessment may fall due in class during the assessment or exam week.
Illness and Misadventure
Our Illness/Misadventure application form is the correct way to apply for extensions of assignment due dates and special consideration regarding examinations.
Y9 Curriculum Handbook
Our Y9 Curriculum Handbook outlines the current mandatory and elective courses for students. In Term 3 students and parents/carers will receive a booklet and guided through the Subject Selection process for Year 10. Subject specific staff will also be available for student and parents/carer consultion.
Parent Learning Group
Early in Term 1 each year we commence our Parent Learning Group (PLG) for Year 9 in the Learning Centre. Access the presentations held do far this year below:
